All those gauges but without a triple pillar mount? You coulda kept the HVAC controls if you had one!
That and they make those nice three pod pieces for the dashboard which would allow you to keep the A/C vents or radio controls.
...but you just HAD to go the extreme route and get ALL that attention!

I did the same thing but it was gray to ebony and leather seats.

Just go and look at a stock ebony interior. Looks JUST the same!!!
It's an auto but it uses the manual center console. The e-brake was insanely difficult to swap.
Actually ask Trouse40, in fact ask him why it has been well over half a year and he still didn't pay me the $1,000 he still owes me for the car.
...better yet why he never answers MY phone calls or my PMs (though he does read them).

After everything was disassembled I bent the parts holding the metal cord to the e-brake. I then put the metal cord onto the other piece and swapped the whole unit/handle.
I had an auto, to be honest I didn't have to worry about safety with it breaking or anything but I would have felt confident even if it was a manual.
The metal bent very well and there weren't any fractures/brittleness/hardening of the bend point.
Overall the biggest part would be making sure you don't over bend it, that and make sure you have a properly sized hex head when you do the other big bolt crap. Be careful when you do any work on the big dash pieces, maybe even wear gloves it bites and breaks easily.
The front dashboard will snap on a moments notice is if you even look at it cross-eyed. I would post pics but I sold the Z28 awhile back.

Hey Chamam how does the kit actually fit?
I thought about one for my Z06 but everytime I look at the pics they sorta look like the piece is going to peal off from one of the sides.

Well the fitment is great. This one has the edges at an angle to improve both looks and ease of cleaning. This kit does not use an adhesive accelerator like others do. This could actually damage the dash if you wished to remove it. My kit could be removed without damaging the dash that was one of the features I liked most.
