Default chrome painted interior pieces?

i saw some chrome paint in a spray can the other day and i was thinking about what it would look like on some interior pieces, like the radio bezel, the a/c vents, door/lock piece and maybe upper center console, i have a chrome/silver shift ****. Wonder what it would look like, hmm...

Chrome in a bottle is pathetic stuff. You'll ruin your whole inside.

eh the chrome in a spray can stuff looks good if they mean silver when they say chrome. Either way to me personally chrome belongs on the outside of the car where it can reflect light and do its thing

It will look like ****, especially if you just spray it on. That "chrome" paint should be called "silver". That's exactly how it will turn out. However, if you don't mind silver, and really want to do it, take some time in prepping for best results.

yeah like stated...the spray can "chrome" will not be reflective AT ALL! its just a high silver. i wouldnt recomend doing this.
HOWEVER...the interior peices done to look exactly like chrome might look good...in fact ill bet that would look badass! ONLY if it looks like chrome (mirror finish) a lot of people here will bash the idea but may praise the finished product! just dont over-do it. little bling goes a long way!
no matter what tho...if you want chrome...DONT USE THE SPRAY CAN!!!! lol

It's plastic, just get it chrome plated... YES you can get plastic chrome plated, just go look at Camaro headlights if you don't believe me...

The chrome in a can is crap. There is a chrome paint but it is VERY expensive and kind of hard to get right. You're better off getting them plated...

Yep, if they can do it for plastic car models they can do it for interior pieces.

And that's exactly just what I did! Here's the post I just put up about getting my vent rings/sliders chromed:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/607552-check-out-my-new-chromed-vents.html

I personally would never use any kind of spray paint on any interior parts...
