Default How to put SS emblem on Grill?

So I got my billet grill and my 69' SS emblem but I have no clue how to put the emblem on the Grill. What's the correct way or simple way of making this work? I dont want to damage this and I want it to look good. Any feedback is appreciated.Thanx!

they sell an epoxy at autozone or whatever auto place, it works on everything from metal to fiberglass, wood, and plastic. Its a 2 conister deal with a plunger (like a syringe) and it comes with a mixing tube attachment for the end (mixer is about 3 inches long) that should do it.

i used the mounting hardware that it came with, then grinded the excess tabs off. Had to bend it a lil to fit the angle of the grill

I am going the same way with the braket that was supplied with some self threading nuts and then gring off the numbs. You also have to cut the bracket in half, so I have been told.

this is about the 5th time ive seen a post like this..lol, but here goes. the emblem must be heated and bent but you have to do it very carefully and not too much at a time be cause it will crack....once you have it fit perfectly to the angle of the grille, center it and get it right to where you want it. cut the rectangle washer enough so it will hold between the lines of the grille but not too much as to where you can visually see it when looking at the car. use self tapping nuts, i used orig gm ones and they worked perfect, you could get that at any junkyard off of an old emblem or side markers usually have them as well. thread them on nice and tight and cut the excess studs off so it will fit snugly against the bumper....this is how ive done a few and it works perfect....you could use jb weld or some sort of adhesive as well, im sure it would work i just dont like those ways....hope this helps
