Default Never use Black magic engine cleaner!!

I used this 2 n 1 degreaser/shine crap from black magic, it left this white calcium looking build up crap on all of my painted and black plastic surfaces under my hood. I was pissed. Talked to black magic company and they just wanted me to know if i was gonna make a claim or not. So i used denatured alcohol to get this stuff off. Did just a little part to make sure it wont make it worse then tomarrow finish the rest.
Just a warning.

Hmm I've used that stuff a few times now and didn't have a problem. Did you clean the motor before you used it or was the motor dirty? My motor was clean and I just used it as a dressing.

Yeah same here, I had great results, this is what it looked like after I got done. Keep in mind this is an 8 year old car with over 100,000 miles in one of the dustiest cities in the country. I think it did a great job

before

after
