There are alot of reasons this happened. Financially and practically speaking this was the smartest move I could have made and still remained happy with having a car that I enjoyed driving.
2006 Spice Red Metallic A4 Pontiac GTO
Although controversial I've always loved the styling of the new ones. I think they have a subdued and understated aggressiveness about them. From some angles they look downright mean to me and I love the natural rake of the body lines. I had to test drive one to make sure it was what I really wanted though and after putting in a few miles behind the wheel I was thoroughly impressed with the car. There isn't a thing about it I don't like. And once I saw the Spice Red Metallic I knew it was all me. The color on this car is gorgeous and depending on the lighting it changes shades and hues as you can somewhat tell in the pictures. I went ahead and got an A4 to discourage modding (I test drove two M6 cars and already was thinking of mods starting with the shifter and clutch as I liked neither) and also since its going to be a daily it'll be alot nicer to just get in and drive.
Only mods are going to be appearance related (tint, wheels, and small exterior enhancements) and maybe a few bolt ons. I'll save the real mod money for building up my 88 Fox body drag project and to put towards the future replacement for the Trans Am as my fun weekend car.
Selling the Trans Am outright and using the money to pay off credit card debt. It's time to move on. I'm trying to look down the road. As much as I love the Trans Am it's never been my dream car. By doing this it will allow me a few years to get finances in order, my insurance to drop once I turn 25, and basically get settled into everything... and then I can hunt down the weekend car I've wanted to own since they've came out, a C5 Z06.
So I'm giving up a little now by losing the Trans Am but in the long run this will pay off.

Damn, your photography skills can make any car look great. Nice looking car, sad to hear you had to let go of your TA though. Hope you will be able to afford your dream car soon (and have fun modding it).

Not my favorite body style but your pictures make things look awesome. You should seriously show those to pontiac and see if you could shoot for them. It would probably get more people to buy those GTO's.
Hands down, some of the best photography I have seen on this site.
