Default Z28 eblems on an SS?!?!

Well, the question of SS badges on a Z has been raised many times, but i have never seen this asked....

What you guys think? I think there are more, better options as far as Z badges go, plus an SS is a Z anyways.

a buddy of mine had an SS with 69 style Z28 badges . . . . IMO doens't look right, it's an SS leave the SS marking on there or if you feel the need to change it put 69 style SS badges on, just my .02

Hmmm, thast my answer to the question.

Also, i think its cooler to have a Z28 than an SS. Dont say "then why you get an SS durrr". Its what i stumbled upon alright.

Id rather have my car be a SS than a Z28 and not just for the badges.. But to say I have a Camaro Super Sport.. Sounds cooler than I have a Camaro Z28..

But I still love my Z!

I prefer the look of the 69 Z/28 badge over the 69 SS badges, but I have an SS so I'll just have to make due.

Just find some better looking "SS" badges...I've seen some take off the "SS" emblems from the SS TRAILBLAZER, they looked a bit more modern.

Just an idea.

So much hype over the SS vs Z28. It's the same car with a different hood and spoiler. Yes, you could get an SS with some other additions that may or may not increase the HP somewhat but in it's most basic form an SS is just a Z28 with a different hood and spoiler. Heck, I know of at least one option that you could get on a Z28 that you couldn't get on an SS.

In 2002 I believe they made more SS's than Z28's. I remember the numbers were very close anyway. So it's not like the SS is "rare" As far as Z28 badges on an SS or vice versa, I say it's your car do what you want to it. As long as your not selling a Z28 as an SS or vice versa who cares?? 95% of the public can't tell a Camaro from a Firebird anyway let alone an SS from a Z28 or WS6 for a TA...

Wow, you camaro guys think of some weird stuff j/k.

I think you should just find a nicer looking 'SS' badge rather swapping with a Z/28 badge. Theres a certain prestige to owning an SS or WS6 IMO... even though they are the same cars as the Z/28s and TA/Formulas. What if you just left the SS badge on the sides and put a Z/28 badge on the rear so you have the best of both worlds?
