I'm torn between 6K and 8K. All the imports that come with HID's from the factory what do they primarily run? I am talking about the Older 3.5CL's and some Mercedes cause they have HID's in reflector housings.

4300K is what is used in factory projector setups. I'm not sure what they would run in the reflector housings.

Silver02TA when you're doing city driving and such, do those give off enough light to roll with the headlights off? Or do you still have to drive with the headlights on.

what exactly is a sealed beam conversion. sorry for the dumb questions that is how some one learns. And what does the HID kit do?? Who has the best kit here??

What is a better bulb??
H4,H1,H7,9006,or 9005

EDIT: does any one have individual pics of the sealed beam conversion kit and HID kit?? What is the difference?

A sealed beam conversion makes it possiable for you to change the bulbs in your headlights, if you notice now on our TA's if your headlight goes out you have to buy a whole new assembly, not just a bulb. You cannot have a HID kit and make it work in a sealed beam housing because there is no way to put a HID bulb in the housing. There are pictures of a sealed beam conversion on the web site I sent you a link to torchd 02 ta. As far as bulbs go, it does not mater what number they are (h1, h2, h7, 9005, 9006, etc) that is just the type of housing they will go into. For example I have H7 bulbs in mine because the light housing will not except any other bulb, one due to the way it fits in and two the way it wires in. Any other questions, just hollar.--Tony

the reason that i asked about the HID kit, was b/c in the pm you sent me you got the sealed beam conversion kit form the link you sent me right? then you stated that you picked an HID Kit form intensise led or something. that is where i am confused!

So the SBC kit replaces our stock housing right? in this pic

that is a new SBC??? then all you will need is an h1, h2, h7, 9005, 9006 bulb??

What is a better bulb out of all these? h1, h2, h7, 9005, 9006

Yes, I did not get my actual HID's from the company I got the SBC from, just the conversion itself. And that picture is the SBC, and yes all you need to do then is get a H7 bulb to put in there, that is the only one that will work in it. All those bulbs are the same, the only difference if how they fit in the housing, a 9006 bulb will not fit in a H1 housing, etc. For these particular SBC's you have to use a H7 bulb as that is the size bulb that fits in the houing. There is no bulb that is better than the other, they are all the same. The only number you need to worry about it the bulbs color temp, like 8000K, 10000K etc.depending on what color you want your lights to be.--Tony

BTW, its Intense HID that I got the lights from.

ok let me get this straight and sorry for all the questions.

i need to get a SBC kit from eurolights.com, you gave me their addy in a pm. They will send me 2 lenses to replace my stock lenses. They will also give me a wiring kit to plug into my stock wiring harness so that i can convert to an H7 buld. Right so far? Now where do i get the H7 bulb? And where ever i get them from, the temp ranged from like 4300K, 6000K, 8000K to 10000K right?

Now what about heat, will that come into a factor at all? will it melt anything?

What is the difference between 6000K and 8000K i want a nice crisp white light with some blue to it.

Do i want LEDs or HIDs for lights?

What aobut the fogs, how do i achieve that same look?????? will the 8000K match my silverstars that i have in my fogs right now??

anymore help would be great
