I really am thinking about doing it now....what sandpaper did u use....and what type of paint....I used Dupli-Color before on my front right bumper and it is good..info if u will please.

i actually had a shop do it, it is painted with a ppg gloss black, i cant help ya, and a friend did it so i dont have a price either. sorry man

I might get a shop to do it also actually......Proper spray gun really does make a BIG difference usually ....thanx. [oh yeah, do you have any better rear shots or could you post some..would really appreciate it man.]

I used semi-gloss on my old T/A . It actually looked like a bright flat black, looked really good imo. http://s84.photobucket.com/albums/k23/radz_04/

Thanks for the pics but that looks flattish for sure. Looks okay but I think gloss is where it's at on NBM.

wow guys i am rally liking it but i am thinking still about doing full gloss silver in my mind it looks beutiful but we will see, it will still be a couple months or so before i do it becuase i am going to get it professanly painted when ever i order a ram air hood i will have them painted together

Have you seen any of them done in silver, I hope I dont hurt anyones feelings but it looks like ****. No ceta would be 10X better than silver

It's going to look like an afterthought in my opinion... Silver just makes no sense... The point ORIGINALLY is to "leave it black" so the exhaust won't show on the bumper (referring to old cars with leaded gas)...

To me silver will look like some kid decided to spray paint his car for no reason...

The gloss black ones above look *okay*, but I wouldn't say they looked any better than navy blue in that area. Different, yes. Better, no.

Silver actually looks badass, especially if you do other silver accents, i.e. silver blackbirds, silver vents, silver pontiac decals etc, here is my silver on my red t/a and it looks pretty damn sweet, especially in person. that is without clearcoat by the way, so expect it to be shinier when im finished with it.
