HA!!! My secret is out! Its the stock ceter cap too. While yes it is plastic, it actually has a thin piece of sheet metal wrapped around the plastic. I had the great idea to sand the color off it till it was bare metal and I polished it!!!! It looks like the chrome wheel and it was free! I got some chrome lug nuts too.

I think its a beautiful color. There is a guy named Elmo Perez that has an 00 Saleen mustang clone painted HOK Candy Burple; its definately one of the nicest 'stangs I've ever seen. Here is a link to it and some pics, and one I have on my computer.

i have a nbm with purple mixed into the clearcoat. so it only looks purple in some light. It looks mainly blue in daylight, but it looks really purple at night with the street lights on.
