Wax On Wax Off
How do you get it off, or do you just let it wear off?
I know it might not be the brightest question...but there may be others in the same boat.
if you are doing a multi step process, then the cleaner wax or polish you are using will remove the wold wax.
if you are applying a specific multi step product, then follow their instructions for preparing your paint for application.
lots of people will tell you to wash it with Dawn. I am not a big fan of that, but there may be certain instances where it is beneficial.
if you are using a carnuba, or NXT, or MOther's or something like that, then simply wash with a good car shampoo, clay, polish as needed, then apply the wax of your choice.
Where do you buy a clay bar. Still want to do it the right way at least once to see the diff. Is it a lot of work?
