I was thinking of painting it white and leaving the cowl part as is black with the old school cowl induction emblem.

That would look pretty damn good. Maybe tie it in at the rear like these guys do with the Manta stripe?

I'm going to do the berger panel with the same glossy paint as the hood to kind of tie it in.

It fits pretty good. I got it off some local guy from here. Its pretty solid IMO and its a bit lighter than my SS hood was.
