Look okay front straight on from the back. But from the angle it appears they stick out too far.

I havnt heard anything about bad chrome work on the Mecham tips, mine are originals and are polished, not chromed. They have been on the car since 98 and still look great when there clean.

I dont like crome for this reason, you take a gamble anytime you go with chrome no matter what the manufacturer.

Well he must have switched his process and found chroming them to be cheaper. They are actually aluminum tips but chrome coated....kinda dumb to do since they don't bond too well. I will be switching to the corsa's if these do decide to be defective. The car is barely driven and certainly not in bad weather so I dunno.

You guys cars look bad ***, love the way the tips look from the back. I just dont want them to look like they stick out to far from a side view. I would like when you cant see anything but the tips. Is their a company that makes the same tips but longer depth. How many of you guys have had the chrome come off of them.

I think mine are tucked in pretty well but tough to see in the shot.

I can just get my fingers in between the top of the tips and the bumper to throw some polish on them every once in a while.

99Formulam6 thats what I have now, the only thing is that I dont like; is that the car is always dirty. Its a black car so it is hard to keep clean and most or the time theirs alot of mosture in the air down here. I was going to go back to tips so it wouldnt get so dirty.

If you think that is ridiculous you should see the problems the guys who bought there hoods have.

Oh wait, that is me...

The chrome on my Mecham tips has started chipping...FYI

I love the look, but I don't like the fact that they are chipping. If you don't love the look, don't get them.
