Both side mirrors fell off the car!?

Both side mirrors fell off the car!?

Yesterday i went out to my car, opened the door, got in and shut the door. As soon as I shut the door I heard something shatter, I look and its my driver side mirror, it just completely fell off and shattered.

And then when parking my car at the movies later that night. My girlfriend gets out of the car and shuts her door. Boom! now the passenger side falls off and shatters.

So now I am without glass in my side mirrors, anyone know where to get replacements?

i dont see how? they are held on by glue and it just seems like there wasnt enough, i dont know. very odd

Sometimes they just fall out from the plastic "ridged bolts" thinks that hold them in (the posts that the motor attaches to and turns them)... Especially if you ever tried to adjust them by hand...

one time mine fell off and was only held on with glue. did you use a new product on your car? maybee a glass cleaner on your mirrors that was abrasive and ate the glue? or even some soaps like if it got behind the glass where nothing could bother it and it just sat there and ate and ate and ate till the next time it encountered trauma or force it cause the glass to just fall off. A little far fetched sure, but still very possible

They are just glued on man just fell off. It happens all the time kinda odd they both did that close together tho.. I have them both the are 20 bucks a piece plus tax and shipping..let me know
