TA interior in camaro?
I am swapping an LS1 into my 94 Camaro LT1 in about 3 months, also swapping a T-56 in there while I'm at it. Question being, I'm going to need to change out my center console for the shifter, and I'm gonna change the cluster/dash as well.
Would I be able to swap out to 98+ trans am interior?

The whole interior comes apart like legos (I did an entire interior swap in March).
The console is brittle and it cracks easily and it doesn't like to come out even when you unscrew everything.
The wiring might be quite a bit different for the radio etc though.
Also when you say the whole thing you mean the whole thing right? I don't know if the 94 braces that hold the console together would match up to a 98.

Well, I guess the whole thing as in all of the visable parts in the least, could a camaro bezel go in a TA slot? etc. trying to figure out how I'm gonna do this, and I think I like the TA interior a bit more.. plus, TA in a camaro would give it more of an original custom feel.

Do you think GM would spend alot of time and more importantly money making these cars different? All parts are interchangeable like others said maybe some differences in wiring and stuff.
