Silverstar Low Beam (9006) Pics
Just put these things in. Figured I'd take a couple shots for people who may be searching for comparisons or are just interested in how they look. If anyone wants high-res, I can post those as well. Just let me know.
Pic 1 - Stock lights, yellow fogs.
Pic 2 - SilverStars, yellow fogs.
Pic 3 - SilverStars, yellow fogs.
Pic 4 - SilverStars only.
...
The rest of the pics are just from different angles to give you an idea of the light output and color. Enjoy.

Thanks for the pictures of the Silverstars. My mind is now made up. I've personally experienced the blinding effect of HID retrofits from our cars and would not want to put them on mine knowing that I would do the same to others.

The fogs are not silverstars, only the low beams. The fogs I purchased separately a couple years back because I liked the yellow look in contrast to the headlights. I'll see if I can dig up where I got them from. As for the bulbs, just pop them in. No need to change anything else.

Well, I searched and searched and I finally found my receipt from when I bought my fogs (thank God I keep those things for times like these). I looked the place up and it doesn't look like they offer the 894's anymore, but they do offer the 893's. I believe the only difference is that the butt of the connector on the 893 is straight whereas the 894 has an L shaped one. At any rate, here is the link: http://www.classicgarage.com/accesso...llow-gold.html . Hope that helps some people that were lookin for some good lookin yellow fogs.

I have the silverstar fogs with low beams. I did a write up on Z28.com on whats needed and and hows its done. Bassicaly you need the pigtails for a Cavalier and the two bulbs. You can either splice the harness or repin the two like I show in this. Enjoy. BTW that work and look awsome http://www.z28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47118

I have the Silverstar 893ST fogs in my car. The ST stands for STRAIGHT instead of L shaped as mentioned above. Here's a link to their website:
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...r/ProductLine/
They do fit right into our cars. They are a bit more tricky to put in since the help of the L shaped bulb is gone and the cable has to come in straight up from underneath, so the cable is a bit short and it's harder to get the bulb into it's housing with the cable attached. For that reason I took off the splash shield from under the car, then popped the bulbs in, then plugged the cable into the bulb.
Here are some before and after pictures.
Hope this helps.

ST = SilverStar
893 = straight connector
894 = angled connector
