I'll answer that one for Travis since I did the lid. It's not photoshopped, it's a piece of felt so that the hood does not hit the paint on the lid directly. There to absord the hit.

yup, thats what it is. I have to get new clamps chromed Bryan, then the newly painted Blackwing lid is going on!
