pewter z28

hey im looking to pick up a pewter z28.. and wondering if i should go w/ a cowl hood or an ss hood? the berger panel is a definite and if anyone has any pics w/ nice looking rims on pewter cars please post em.. im looking at tt2's, ccw sp500's, or black z06 rims. any suggestions?

If your going with the gerger for sure then get a cowl hood to match the classic camaro look you wanna acheive. ALso tt2's would be your wheel choice to complete the retro look.

My friend has a pewter z with an SS hood and TT2's. Its a nice car.He's a member(snakesRslow). You can take a look at his sig pic.

my vote is cowl hood, leave the SS hood to the SS's and AR rebels!

i say leave the ss hood for the ss camaro.... go with the cowl hood...or maybe the ultra z hood.....i just got my tt 2's over x mas no the very nicest pics but ill post themin a bit...

Can't go wrong with Cowl or SS IMO. I'd definately go with TT2's .... unless you got enough money for the SP500's

Im in the no hood crowd.....

But If you have to go with one..Id go with the SS..but it would have to be a really big gun their holding to my head...

01pewter2001z28's car is an example of it done right....ok so maybe no gun required..just some arm twisting

The 01 pewter would look sick with some halos. I'd say the cowl hood with some tt2s. Then you got yourself a winner. Y2K Pewter SS has one of the cleanest engine bays I've seen, just thought everyone should know that.

I think something like a cowl or the ultra-z hood would be the best. I'm having the same trouble deciding on what hood too get. I personally think the SS hood should stay on the SS. I think for the money you will spend on a hood make it a worthwhile purchase. The SS hood looks too stock(don't get me wrong, it's a nice hood)and it would be cooler if you could find an SS hood that's alittle bit higher than stock but not as HUGE as the VFN one.(that looks ridiculous IMO)
