Here is a picture of my first car (I am from South Africa), it was a 1981 Golf GTI 1.8L (on the right, my sister's 1996 Golf CTI 1.8i on the left). Got it when I was 17, my Dad and I did a decent amount of work to it, including changing the front end to the 92+ bumpers, grill and fenders. We resprayed it together aswell. It came out great. I still miss it, it was pretty peppy for a 1.8l, my sister's CTI was a decent amount quicker with the newer efi 1.8l motor.

87 Ford Thunderbird with a 5.0
It was a fun car. Went through 3 generations of my family. I drove it up to 240k miles when the rear main went, and I started to have to put a quart in it every other day. So I sold it for 400.00 and got the WS.6. If I ever found one in decent shape, I'd love to get another one. I think they are beautiful cars.

only picture i could find on my computer.....you get the idea
It was an 04 GTI 1.8t w/ a 5 speed. I put apr's ecu upgrade, bailey diverter valve and a cold air intake on tha thing. It ran a 14.4 @97 mph w/ just those mods so it was quick but the firehawk was still a nice upgrade

Sorry for such a bad pic. But you get the idea. It was a 1960 step side chevy apache 10. I was 14 when I got it. I worked on it all through out highschool. When I was 18 I finally finished it. Complete frame up resto. With new and approved hardware. I took the 235 out and replaced it with a 283 that had such a big cam in it that it would harldly idle. It was a horseshoe mount motor mount so when you reved it the whole truck would move, It was nice as hell. Still wish I had it.

Here is my 1996 Beretta, I still miss the car. I loved driving it, and it got about 32 MPG. Ran pretty good I guess for a 4 banger. I done everything to it myself.
