I had a Marty McFly wannabee truck. 88 Nissan Hardbody black with blacked out windows, euro taillights, and a fart can. The thing was a piece and it had like 300,000 miles! Still wish I had it for a daily driver though.

I got my 69 Camaro when i turned 13. I'll never part with it. I drove it all through highschool with a 355 and a super t-10 4 speed (originally a 307 3spd). It now has a LT1/T56 and will hopefully soon be a LS1/T56. Originally Hugger orange but was primer when i got it and i wanted it yellow. It will be orange again dont worry.

my dad bought my first car for me.... when i was 12 and in junior high school LOL... i think he wanted it more than i did, but he turned it over to me on my 15th birthday.

The 00 Z is the first vehicle i've purchased on my own, followed a couple of years later by my Silverado. i sold the 91 Z for $800 in 2004 when the tranny finally gave out after 236,000 miles. it had become a train wreck. but now i kick myself for selling it - i miss that car! sold it to a friend withthe strict instructions that if he ever sells it, i want it back.

Hah.......I had an 89 Beretta GT. 2.8 V6, I LOVED that car. Got her from my mother in 1995, the day AFTER I graduated high school, with 27K. Drove her daily for the next 6yrs, up till 88K. Best car I ever had, in terms of comfort, ease of driving, and reliability. NOTHING ever went wrong with her, other then regular maintenance. Had to let her go for a measely $850 when I bought my first truck.

behind her is my second car.....1978 Trans Am, on the day I bought her.

Is a Beretta basically a Chevy version of a Grand Am? They look to be the same size, are they on the same platform? Same mechanicals?

Had a 1999 Grand Am GT. Victory Red with a 3.4L
I debadged it, lowered it 2", put a Flowmaster cat-back on, and a nice stereo.
Sold it after blowing a head gasket and bought my Camaro.

do you usually sell them before you get registration and whatnot or do you usually drive them and then sell them later?

i still have it, when i build the 'camaro motor, the S-10 gets the LS1

it's a true SS, 94 was the best year (higher compression) for the SS S10s. 4.3 CPI V6 w/A4, pretty rare motor...it ran awsome. hopefull the LS1 and a C5 IRS will make it run better.

i'm goin all show and all go

my buddy had a 95 grand prix, same engine 3.1L and was roughly the same size, but it very well could have been a grand am

Beretta and Grand Ams shared the same basic platform and running gear. Towards the later years of the Beretta's life, the body changes were big, as the grand am kept changing, the Beretta stayed really the same from its first year of 87, till last of 96. If you look at an old grand am, like early 90s, they look alot closer. The Corsica was a 4 door Beretta, more or less.

'71 cutlass supreme vert, 350/th350. Shared it with my dad for the first 4 months I had my liscence. He carpooled so I got the car every other week and fridays. Went about 350k before we replaced the motor and never left anyone stranded (well until this past summer when the alt. plug had come loose and it needed a jump at the gas station .5 miles from my house) Still have it but it's having some issues and will be for sale soon

This is the first to really be "my" car. Bought brand new, '02 gmc sonoma 4.3 auto. We were in the middle of building a new house so a truck was kind of needed, I needed a vehicle, good price, and dad didn't want/have the time to deal with any issues a used truck might have (I wanted a early 90's Z71). I had big plans for this truck but one day I decided I wanted something faster to play with and got into f-bodies...probably the worst financial decision I've made Dad still drives the truck.

just depends on the car, i had the tahoe about 7 months, the integra for about a month, the f150 for about 9 months, the silverado for about 2 days, the ss camaro for about 8 months, and the pt just long enough to find my trailblazer, i also left out a 1989 bmw 325i that i paid $250 for and sold it the next day for $1500
