snow is nothing to be concerned about, unless there's a layer of ice under it that might scratch the car when it slides off. it's just like rain.
the salt that's on the roads is the big problem.

I didnt think of it that way! I believe that the snow will have the same effect on paint. Good point.

I wouldn't be too concerned about snow getting on the car - I'd be much more concerned with all the scratches/swirl marks you will put in the paint by cleaning the snow off. I would have just let the snow melt off naturally.

Hell, I go to great pains to buff out all the swirl marks on my black T/A with Menzerna - only takes brushing up against the car with clothes one time to put some back in - depending on what you used to clean off the snow - I would assume it was much more aggressive...

you could cover it with a tarp if your realy concerned, put a blanket underneath it for pading and hold it all down with bungee cords, it not good looking but it would cover the car.
but like previously mentioned, snow is usually only whater mixed with a little dirt, what kills cars is the salt (or stones/sand depending on area).

Yeah definately, when it snowed last week, I let the snow slowly but surely melt off/fly off when driving.....even with my DD, i never let a brush touch the paint.

acid rain/snow can be damaging if you have a car without a clearcoat. for example, my '78 TA has fades all over the place if u look at it from the right angles. however, with a clearcoat, you won't have any problems. the salt from the roads is what you have to worry about.
