i got a cme need help

i have a cme and i need help on what the heck i need to do to get these tips look good
here is a pic

by the way i picked it up for 200 bucks know all i need is a valance let me know if there is one out there that i can buy

sanding then polishing tip. I would only use that on the face of the tips tho

Polish them up or paint them. The valence you might have to go through ebay to find one. There is another guy here that occasionally sells them. Either way be prepared to pay.

A strong recommendation from a fellow CME owner, get an extra bar welded into the back the CME tips. I have seen lots of these crack at that small connection. Even when SLP was still selling the whole CME kit(I bought one of the last 5) my tips came with a bigger center connector welded behind the existing one. Good Luck finding the SLP valence. I have seen a couple pop up on ebay, but the seller is always asking a retarded price. But congrats on buying the best exhaust tips ever found on a camaro!

You got a really good deal on those tips even though they were pretty dirty. There are two valences currently on ebay. I believe one ends today or tomorrow.Heres a pic of mine.

i got a valance, he is having it painted for me what i did was sprayed the whole tip silver with high temp paint and i polished the lip i will have pics up later, i am pretty pleased with the way that it turned out
