would this work?

i had an idea, not sure if it will work and i have never seen it before. what about an 97 35th aniversary/ss style spoiler? would this mount up on my 02 z28? not sure. its the spoiler that looks like the 98 and up spoilers but doesnt have anything in the center, just a high lip. anybody know?

97 was the 30th anniversary, not 35th. The decklids are all the same on the 93-02 cars so it will bolt up fine. The 98+ SS spoilers just have the center fangs that mount to the decklid with double side tape.

i got the years confused, mine is a 35th, i thought it might work but i was having a hard time trying to find a 97 ss spoiler though. any ideas?

It will fit, I have a 97 SS and i was able to swap to the 98+ style. The only thing is the connectors are different for the third brake lights. You are going to need to cut off the ends of both connectors and merge them yourself. Its pretty easy and painless.

i think the 96 - 97 ss spoiler is kinda different an you really dont see it on too many ls1's, thats why i want that style instead of the 98 and up style. i like to be a bit different.
