zinc rotors

just got new zinc coated rotors should I spray a clear coat over the zinc or just leave it as is

i think a clearcoat would come right back off when you drive, as will the zinc coating.

Don't worry about spraying clear coat on the rotors. It will just come off with the zinc coating. The zinc coating is to protect the areas of the rotor where the brakes do not make contact to prevent rusting.
