I got a polishing kit from eastwood seems like it would make a big mess if I tried to do the ac canister in the car.

Also you could clean up the areas around the shock towers and clear coat them for a glossy finish. Also the areas around the radiator support etc. This came out in a flat finish from factory.

They arent too flat I thought about getting some cd2 and seeing how well it shines after. I knew a guy that did professional detailing ill have to talk to him his camaro engine compartment looked really shiny when he was done. I was also going to take out as much stuff as I could to clean behind like the fuse boxes and a few other things then put them back of course.

Yeah CD2 will give you a good glossy finish alright. I was thinking of a more lasting thing.

lets see a pic?

you better be prepared to spend alot of time sanding and polishing. buy its way worth it. but some buffing pads that will fit into a drill though, it'll cut the polishing stage in half atleast and bring out a better shine. post up pics of your progress.

Dont laugh. It is by no means perfect but it looks decent in person and much better then the flat gray. with a lil more time it might be alright.

FredoCamaro- Ive never tried the cover on an LT1, but if you buy it and it doesn't fit we'd refund the money...

They are made to order. I never have any that sit on the shelf or I'd try it out for ya on my '94

Is it possible to take the a/c canister off and have it chromed? If so does those hoses disconect pretty easy? And will it still work after being chromed.
