Do you have any pictures of shift boots for trans ams that match the the original tan leather?

As you can tell the black faux-alcantara is not raven black, but slightly off-black. The pictures enhance this effect, in reality it's closer to black than these would suggest:

I want to order the shift and ebrake boot's...

Question on the shift boot though. If I have a short stick (from WS6store, not that it matters) how much shorter would I want to order it? I see it has the option to go all the way up to 4" shorter?

Thanks!

I'm not sure, I haven't seen that shifter before. There's a way to measure that, however.

We'd need you to measure:

- distance from front corners of shifter plate to where you want the top of the shift boot to be located

- likewise distance from rear corners of shifter plate to where you want the top of the shift boot to be located

It needs to be measured across the longest travel distance. So if you have a typical setup of 1,3,5 on the front and 2,4,R on the back, it would be 2 for front-right corner, R for front-left, 5 for rear-left and 1 for rear-right corners, respectively.

When we have that info, we can size the boot properly.

Hope that helps

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since we last posted, but we're back.

Here's a brand new pic of a B&M short shifter with an adequately shortened shift boot in a MK5 Jetta/Golf. You can order your shift boot customized for size easily - the appropriate control is right there on our website's order form!

Here's what the stock boot looks like:

Big difference there, isn't it?

Here is the February discount code: 56ET1O6E3O9 Valid through Wednesday, February 13th!

Take care,
Maciek

For those of you wondering, here's how the samples match up to the tan and black. In my opinion, none of the tans match enough that I would be happy with. However, the black is right on.

Thank you for posting this. I think black leather with brown thread should be a close match, to me the seats are a very dark tan, kind of leaning towards brown...

Hi everyone,

something ordinary, but elegant this time. Black faux-alcantara with burgundy thread to match the painted center console. I really like the matt alcantara look, kind of reminds me of cars that are loaded with alcantara like the GT2 and other top of the line cars...

And the code, valid through Wednesday, February 20th is: 5WY6E16G60I

Have a great weekend,
Maciek

When I first looked at it, the Taupe sample looked more grey than brown. But Maciek emailed me and sure enough, it matches pretty darn well. I'll definately be getting a set.

Hello!

THIS IS THE LAST DISCOUNT CODE THAT WILL EVER BE POSTED IN THIS THREAD.

In several weeks, we will be starting a whole new advertising campaign. The prices will be the same, there will be a discount code, we just want to refresh our ads as some of them are a few years old... This will tkae us some weeks though and until then, we won't be releasing discount codes anymore.

The last discount code, valid through Wednesday, March 5th is: 5LE6241XNP5

As far as shift boot ideas are concerned, here are our recent favorites. This is black perforated leather with silver thread.

Take care,
Maciek
