there are 2 bolts below the radio on either side. take em off
then pull the ebrake ******* hard so its vertical
2 bolts in the console bin
pull it out.
if you cant get the ebrake off, undo the clicker with a screwdriver. it should make it easier to get vertical

With an A4 all you gotta is pull the pin out the shifter ****, pull the **** off, put it in neutral with the ebrake on, undo the bolts under the change slot, and carefully angle the console out.
