Ya i got mine from bit viper and i love it. and yes it works great and your radio reseption will not be effected

how would you go about installing one of these shorty antennas? im interested. and what are the price ranges?

Wrench the stock one off, screw/wrench the replacement one on. You might want to pick up a 6-pack and two friends to help with the install.

took my chrome 4" one off my friends truck that he ordered from a truck mag...the only thing i dont like about bitvipers is how wide it is....sorry :/

thats what i thought until i got it in and saw it in person, it flows VERY well, and pictures dont do it justice...

Which is the reason I bought his. It matches the base mold PERFECTLY, and goes off into a nice taper. The stock antenna or cut shorties don't even match that well.

The Z06 style one you can barely even notice when its on, its so narrow lol.

As for the price range, dont pickup a case of beer for two weeks. That'll give you enough cash for the antenna, and a 6 pack

i just kept my stock antenna. before i installed my new headunit i turned off my radio to put it down and now it just stays down. easy solution and you still get good signal from it.

I buy mine off ebay for 14.95$ shipped, Ive boughten 3-4 of them now... For all my vehicles ive had... If anyone is interested I can link you thru pm's.... Ive been satisfied, Infact someone liked one of them so much that they stole it off my old car! haha

EDIT: and I second the fact that the bitviper one looks extra wide, mine looks perfecto!
