Yeah thats what i was afraid of! But I already have dings on my rear panels, i didnt have any dings on the doors or the molding, and someone on here said that the doors dont get dinged since theyre made out of plastic but either way i was just curious to see how it would look with them off, im not partial to them on or off, it really looks the same, but now im starting to worry about dings and since my little brother snapped one i cant put them back on

all in all it took maybe 15 minutes! well removing the molding not the wash and wax
here are some pics, i didnt get any before pics so i'll post some old ones...it looks a little bit better, im not wowed by the results. hopefully i dont regret it when some Ahole dents my door...

Thats why mine are still on, I'm just afraid some ******* will hit it the day after I take them off.

I'm still trying to figure out how you get door dings on a fiberglass door If the impact is enough to "dent" the door- the door is gonna be fucked

I just don't get the fascination with removing the side molding. When I bought my '93, it didn't have molding on it because it was a stripped-down V6 M5 and I went to great pains to have it added. It was an option that not all Camaros had and, to me, the car looked cheaper without it. My Camaros have always been daily drivers and the molding actually serves a purpose. Besides, from 10 feet away, especially on a dark car (like NBM) it's hard to tell whether it's on there or not. Just glance at my sig pic and see what I mean. I just don't think it makes that much of a difference visually to be worthwhile of giving up the protection it provides. But, hey, you guys keep on doing the !molding mod. It just makes my SS look more unique.

I'll compromise with you, its technically like a fiber reinforced plastic. So we will call it between plastic and fiberglass. But it looks like fiberglass if it "tears"

my '96 have them and i won't be taking them off. I hate dings and they do help. Besides you can't see them barely on mine anyway. The 35th looks sweet though. Nice car you have. ~Cole~
