Talking I had to!

Since everyone on here is on the !molding bandwagon, i decided to join in ...it was very easy. after washing and waxing i heated the molding really quick, and they pulled right off, my little brother was holding the hair dryer to them so that made it easy...for anyone wanting to do it in the future the following worked really well

*i removed the glue by rubbing my thumb over it
*i cleaned it up some with wd40, this helped a lot!
*lastly i cleaned up the area and any remaining glue/black **** with some Scratch X, this REALLY helped!

all in all it took maybe 15 minutes! well removing the molding not the wash and wax
here are some pics, i didnt get any before pics so i'll post some old ones...it looks a little bit better, im not wowed by the results. hopefully i dont regret it when some Ahole dents my door...

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Sorry for the crappy pics, i snapped them really quick.
SO what do yall think?

The ones on my car were banged up by the previous owner pretty good... and I'd love to take mine off, but 13 years of crud accumulating under there, and no sun fade on them means I'll probably want to wait til I get the car re-painted.

They don't really bother me, but I do agree it looks a tiny bit better without them on an f-body. The door dings will look 100x worse though, be prepared. I took them off of my first 98 Formula while I lived in an apartment. Big mistake!
