I had to!
...it was very easy. after washing and waxing i heated the molding really quick, and they pulled right off, my little brother was holding the hair dryer to them so that made it easy...for anyone wanting to do it in the future the following worked really well*i removed the glue by rubbing my thumb over it
*i cleaned it up some with wd40, this helped a lot!
*lastly i cleaned up the area and any remaining glue/black **** with some Scratch X, this REALLY helped!
all in all it took maybe 15 minutes! well removing the molding not the wash and wax
here are some pics, i didnt get any before pics so i'll post some old ones...it looks a little bit better, im not wowed by the results. hopefully i dont regret it when some Ahole dents my door...
