Tail Light middle console
Tail Light middle console Hey all...
I dont know about anyone else but my all black tail light middle console is so freakin' boring to look at. I have my honeycomb taillights, and this bland black piece is in between. So, I got my hands on about 50,000 LEDs, circuit boards and my local dump yard has about 20-30 of the middle consoles sitting around that he's willing to sell meand I found my soldering iron that I've been using for about 7 years that was stored away...my brain got turning...
Here's some ideas I had, I know someone in the past had a bird in the middle to light up when the DRLs were on, and I'm going to achieve the same thing, however I don't think I want that bird...Im not quite sure, just wanting to see what you folks would choose. Who knows I might go ape and start something making these.
Anyhow, let me know what you think about my ideas. (and yes the local law enforcement one is a joke)

Shitz! I didnt even think of Import Killer or American Muscle...Poncho is awesome too...here's some PSs of those and more I came up with...
There's some duplicates, only as I changed the font to more of a "PONTIAC" rear bumper font...closest one I got...Let me know fellas!
And for all of the Anti-Pontiac owners that have called my car this...resulting in a feeling similar to nails on a chalkboard...

Honestly, I like the all black the best. No offense but if I saw any of those on the back of a Firebird while I was driving, I'd probably think "Man that's pretty ghey". If you made a Firebird logo light up, that would be the ONLY one that I would even consider saying nice job too, sorry.
I think Im just going to do the original bird logo...text is cool however I'd only REALLY consider things that would be associated with my car directly...LT1, FORMULA, PONTIAC, etc etc...but the fact that everyone else has the bird in the middle allows me to use what everyone else has, and improve it.

i would say the bird or a simple pontiac like the fieros or the car name firebird, formula. trans am, firehawk. other than that i think itd pretty much get laughed at. But i like where your headed
