Getting out the cigarrette smoke . . . What's a good way to get rid of the smoke smell in a car?? A car I'm looking at is absolutely mint except for that, there aren't any burn holes in the seats or anything either. It doesn't smell all that strong, so maybe there is hope. Oh, and it has cloth seats if that makes a difference(well they're silver mesh with off white accents, black suede accents and orange stitching 
When I detailed cars we used to spray febreeze on everything, seats, headliner, carpets, and mats. That did a good job of getting rid of the smell, but who knows how long it worked.
Any tips, products, suggestions, anything???

I agree rent a Rug Doctor with the attachments and clean the seats and carpet a couple times. They sell that pet deodorizer that you can add to the Rug Doctor while cleaning and that would surely neutralize any smoke smell and leave it smelling good.

I don't think the suede would like a rug doctor though, but good idea on pulling up the carpets.

At the dealership I worked at the put some sort of "smell bomb" in the A/C system and ran it on full blast for a couple hours. Made the car smell like new again
after a full detail and thorough cleaning, start your car. Turn your ac to full power on the coldest setting. Open your hood. Spray febreez or any odor killing soray in the front cowl area. Every 2 minutes spray some more for 10-15 minutes. I saw this on the DIY channel and it worked for me.

mine doesnt smell, or even look dirty at all, but im still gonna be doin your method, i cant belive all the nastyness you got out...

Depends on bad it smells and how long you can deal with it...in my old RS I put some backing soda in them and lput them in the car for a few days.
I'd stir the power ever day and a week later the car smelled great.
I also sprinkled some powder on the carpets for a day or so then vaccumed it out.

turtle wax used to make this deoderizer that came in a yellow bottle. i havent seen it in a couple years. but one of my friends liked smoking grass and i sprayed it in his truck once to see how it worked and you couldnt even smell it.
get OZIUM it kills all smells, couple years ago my old eclipse sun roof leaked horibly during one of the FL keys hurricanes and water sat an inch deep for 2 days so it smelled HORRIBLE, and then i met OZIUM, smelled WONDERFUL from then on, tell the kid i sold it to wrapped it around a pole
I heard a trick where you put a dozen red apples in a brown paper bag with the top closed. I heard you leave it in there overnight with the windows up and it takes the smell right out. Anyone heard of this
