Chrome Underhood Bolts?

Chrome Underhood Bolts?
There is a local Firehawk that has genuine chrome underhood bolts that are a real knockout. I'd like to do the same for car shows bling, but I have not been able to find anyone or anywhere that can do this for a 2002 Firehawk Trans Am.
Mr. Gasket used to make a replacement kit a few years back, but it's out of production.
I don't want to bling out the whole underhood area, I just want to replace the common black bolts with chrome or at least very highly polished stainless steel.
Any ideas?

I am in the process of replacing some of my underhood bolts with chrome and or stainless too. I havent been able to find a 'kit' so I just removed some of the bolts that I want to upgrade to chrome and took them to my local ACE hardware store. They have a really good selection of chrome hardware. It can get expensive real quick for chrome bolts, etc. In my first 'round' at the store I walked out with a $68 bill for a small bag of chrome bolts but I feel that it will be worth it. Spectre makes chrome bolt 'caps' too. I did read on here that some company use to make a underhood chrome bolt kit for F bodys but I dont think it is available anymore. If it still is available I would like to know the contact info.

I replaced probably 40 bolts under the hood with stainless allen head bolts. What I do is take off a hand full of bolts and go down to this industrial hardware place and find matches for all of them. A place like ACE is gonna be pretty limited on sizes, especially in chrome. Chrome on a bolt head will flake off, I think stainless is better.

blaSSt,
I found the Hillco website, but Jesus, they have a 274 page catalog and I have no clue what I'm looking at???
Do you have the package they came in / the part number / a better description that I can use to search the catalog?
Their catalog is amazing. Finally, after several years of frustration, you pointed me to the right place.
I just need to find out what to buy.
Thanks for the help.

Just call them.. it's easier
I used chrome bow-tie bolts on the front of my engine bay. Looked great but they don't come in metric so I had to tap them to the US equivelant, it was easy.

The Hillco kit doesn't come with every bolt, so I purchased additional bolts from Scootworks.

I've just started to do this. I've replaced the 4 air box bolts with M6 x 1.0 40 mm bolts and with 3/16 x 1" washers. I'm planning on doing anything else that I can get to. My car will finally be coming around this summer.
Should've just got the SS.

To people interested in a cheaper route heres what I did. I bought those bolt caps that you can find at your local PepBoys. These are made in stainless steel. I dont use the plastic base that you are supposed to insert in the bolt. Instead I glue the cap over the bolt with clear silicone adhesive. Enough to hold it there. When I need to do some work a little force makes them fall of easily. The adhesive is soft enough as to not interfere with bolts threads. The overall look is very clean and easier to do.

I finally got a full printout of the Trans Am schematic and all applicable part numbers.
All I have to do is match up the quantity and part numbers and I'll be set.
Where there's a will, there's a way...
