PICS!!! 56k kick rocks...

alright there are no actual pics. but what is the funniest "56k" statement you have seen on tech? i laugh everytime i visit the appearance section and i figure you guys would be the most familiar with this...

I do know a handful of people out in the sticks that don't want to pay out the *** for satillite and aren't addicted to the internet that still have 56K

i remember back in like 1998 when i first got into computers i had 56k. i actually had 2 56k modems so i hooked both of them up and thought i would be flying at 112k, but sadly that didn't work out for me.

It is a dial up modem.. Basically slow *** internet! I use to have a 28.8 lol how did i manage!??!

^ man i had a 14.4 back in the day. but i guess at the time it was fast because there was nothing to compare it to. i'd kill myself if i had to switch back to that now
