i bought a thing called "The Absorber" from O'Reilleys and it works excellent!! Its in a plastic cylinder tube. Check it out.

+1 for the Micro-fiber towels, I used to use the "The Absorber" as well, but was told you use Micro-fiber towels, and have never used the Absorber since.

 

i go over a section with the absorber and then get the rest with the microfiber.

I use The Absorber as of right now, but will soon be switching to a Toro Leaf Blower

 

25 pack of microfiber towels at WalMart for $10. Can't beat that.

 

The Absorber is a POS!!! Leaves a residue and streaks and will leave a film on windows. I prefer to use the Waterblade, then a leaf blower*electric* then wipe off with GOOD quality Microfiber towels. You wont find a better combo for cleanliness and no spots or film left over. Ask guys that detail....they will agree. That or use a 100% cotton Towel that has been washed without softener...it tends to not work as well as it prevents water absorbtion and can stay in the towel fibers and scratch.

Cheap M/F towels WILL scratch your paint, so those of you that have that problem..buy better ones next time.

I've never had these problems but then again I keep my absorber clean.

 

I have the absorber and micro fiber towels, but the more experienced guys on here say waffle weaves are the best thing to use after a leaf blower. No matter what product you use, the idea is to touch your paint as lightly and as little as possible.
