Curious to know what you guys think
I had been looking for something to replace the bland SS fender emblems and I came up with using these from a 64 Impala SS. It's a throw back like some of the guys I have seen using the old Z28 emblems plus it adds a little bit of color and style in my opinion. I haven't seen anyone else use these but I havent seen alot of what everybody else has. What do yall think?

GM's new marketing strategy is to put those little squares on all the vehicles Pontiac,Chevy,Saturn,Cadillac to tie the brand name together.
When I buy new Corvette my first project will be the !GM badge mod.

I think without the circle, if you added the 1st generation Camaro script to it would look nice. The circle is the only thing unappealing about the emblem for me.
Its unique and tasteful tho. Def gives it a nice flair.

I'd say to leave the circle around the SS badge. It looks good that way, IMO.
But I think the GM badge would look better somewhere else. I put mine on the radiator core support/lower air box assembly, thought it looked good oppsite the chrome Z28 badge:
Eventually, I plan to paint the engraved portion (GM) in black so it stands out better.

Trust me, I am! That was the whole reason for it was the ring, show some respect to the first line of car to carry the SS badge. This is the only one that didnt have a deer in it. But thanks guys for the yays and nays!
