you CAN buy TTII's like that.... they are called TTII classic's.

The ones in the first pic im pretty sure are not classics they look shinier.

thanx for all the pics guys, i ordered a set of TT2's mon. should be here wednesday. its 60$ a wheel to get them powder coated... so looks like that what ill be doing b/c i really don't want a polished wheel...

The wheels posted aren't powder coated... Most guys PAINT them (hence the obvious clear coat).

I did that on my old 1998 Z:



I went with a darker charcoal. The best way to go about it is to paint the spokes in base coat clear coat and then polish the crap out of the lip and then paint it with the clear made for polished parts...

Then you just have to wash the wheels off to clean them

No, Classics are different. I've got AR CL200S's (Classics), on my NBM SS, which have a matte gray finish on the spokes. I'd say most people wouldn't like the matte gray finish but I love 'em. And, they're definitely different than what everyone else has.
