Seems to be a lot of talk about "yellow" in this thread. I'm liking it.
To clarify the 35th thing that most people get confused about. The Collector Edition Trans Am in NOT an official Anniversary Edition. But it IS a Special Edition created to "Celebrate" 35 Years of Firebird Heritage.

No I wasn't referring to you at all. I know that you know your stuff with Birds. I just see a lot of people on many different f-body sites always think that a Trans Am is just a Trans Am and not really considered to be a Firebird.
If someone were to ask me what kind of car I have I always tell them, "I have a 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Collector Edition WS6" Then they just look at me and say, "huh?"

From what I've gathered it depends on what package you got as to the arrangement of the decals. If you got the Phase I Black Bird CETA then you retain the CETA hood stripes and get a silver 380hp decal in place of the Ram Air decal. If you get the Phase II 435hp pkg then you get the Black Bird specific hood stripes added on and the CETA stripes removed (sacrilege! ahha). Thats just from what I've seen over the years. I'm not sure if that is true or not.
I guess I have to research the Carl Black CE's a bit more.
