Lets see some unique pictures
Its clearly not what I was looking for in this thread. Its a redneck acting like a redneck. Whats unique about that? The car isnt special. Its not in some historic place, and it has no famous person leaning up to it for a picture.
and let people post in peace
Correcting people who argue w/ me about something they apparently dont know anything about is enough cause in itself. I dont post facts unless I know they are to be true. Plus, i started this thread. I cant hijack my own thread, I simply can take a time-out and do some correcting.
Hi-Jack, correct, away
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
If your'e referring to me, sorry, but I thought my pic actually counted towards that but oh well
some facts:
1- 1999 30th ta
1- 2002 copo collector edition trans am blackbird #5 ( there was originally supposed to be 10 but Matt Murphy aka GMMG never got around to making all 10 there is only 8 so far. Matt does have the other 2 packages but just hasn't got around to building the other 2.
1-2002 copo Sunset Orange Metallic Blackbird #48-50 ( what i like to call the pure breed of blackbird's b/c yearone and ceta just integrated the blackbird package into the car. dont get me wrong, they are no doubt rare breads and collector cars. but, the pure breed blackbirds were made first and were sold by Mister Carl Black.
some more fun facts:
yearone has also made 8 yearone blackbirds. there was supposed to have been 10 of them also but they have never gotten around to making the other 2 either. the ceta bb only had one that was a convertible and it is #1 ceta bb. some may say that these cars are not copo cars but they most certainly are. Matt M. "GMMG" had to go through copo aka central order production office to get the ok to build these cars and documented. On my moms ceta bb and my som bb, at the yearone show a few years back in Bristol Tn, we got Linda Van (sp), Jim wangner, Lance martin (the salesman who sold us the cars) and Matt Murphy to sign the underside of our hoods. that adds a nice touch to the cars a far as rarity goes.
yes, there are many different blackbird packages you can get now and depending on what package you get will have different decal schemes/looks for the car but mainly just a substantial amount of more hp. anyways, there is so much more to tell about these cars and what matt M. "GMMG" is doing by making theses car. I hope that this clears up all the questions for the sloan pics. Thanks for all the complements. Last edited by blackbirdsom; Mar 10, 2007 at 12:12 AM.
