Default Under the hood show quality mods

What would be some good appearance mods to add under the hood of an LS1 f-body? I'm getting my car ready for G11 at Atlanta this year so I'm trying to add some bling under the hood. I've got an SLP lid, Coated LT headers, MSD Wires, Metallic Blue MAF and a few other things. I polished my A/C Condensor last night and plan on polishing all the A/C lines and other aluminum parts I can get to. I'd like to get that plate that mounts on the passenger side head but I'm not too fond of the WS6 stores Z-28 plate. I want something like the ZL1 camaro came with, has the engine size, hp and torque, year and model, etc... Post some pics up of ya'lls personalized add on's, painted parts, whatever you have that looks cool. Car show season is around the corner so we all need to get our rides ready!

I've done many things to mine this Winter and I think the coolest mod was the Polished PCM cover people are selling. Looks awesome installed. You can buy them on E-Bay and maybe a sponser here as well. Some beauty washers under stainless bolts and washers from Hilco would set the bay off as well.

I was actually looking for one of those and a battery cover as well. I'd like to find some in chrome or paint them body color to match the car. I was trying to find that thread where everyone was re-routing the wires on the passenger side fender to go under it rather than out in the open. I thought that might clean up the engine bay a little too.

go to e-bay and punch in PCM cover and you'll find them. the wire mod you can find it here. that would look nice as well.

Speed Inc sells a bunch of underhood apperance stuff.

Afterthoughts has some little things, and lets you customize fuel rail covers too.

I am going to attempt to post some pics of my 99 TA. Just a few engine pics, after some repainting, and rewiring.

That is one damn nice car! I love what you've done to it under the hood! I'm shooting for something similar but I wish my paint wasn't Sebring Silver on the strut towers because they are a pain to keep clean. Thanks for the pics, that's a very nice car!

Thanks I wish the pics could have been larger when posted. But it will only let you go up to 100kb on pic size

You could get your paint color mixed in cans at your local paint shop. You can get it mixed in a single stage enamel and do it yourself. Just sand, clean, and prep your area as best as you can, and use a final wash cleaner and tack rag before you spray, and it would look incredible And then you could just wipe over it w/ final detail or better yet, some Z6, and it would be much easier to wipe down However, it does take time to do it right, and you can't be rushed....but the silver would look really nice!

Yes rerouting the wires is a must it cleans it up very nicely. Here's a link to the wire mod.

Here are 2 pics, they are of my LT1 though. They are a couple of years old, I don't have any recent pics. Everything has been repainted, and we have managed to re-route the wires....but a basic idea...

This is an old pic, since I have added an UMI hugger orange adj. torque arm w/ DS loop, and the BMR hugger orange LCAs. I don't have any recent pics, b/c over the last 3 months, the entire underneath of this car has been stripped and repainted. Along w/ the engine bay.

sorry!
