i like it nate, i say you keep it and even paint the calipers red. not to knock anyone else's oppinion neither. but i think it sets the car aside and dont think it looks tacky.

you need a better grille with the red SS logo...

I had intended on painting my grill red (slightly darker than yours) as well, but I'm a big fan of black with red accents, and may just decide to paint the scoop red itself (darker) and call it good...

but seriously, you need something on the nose to offset the larger red of the scoop grille...

look into that new grille for the nose and your bad responses will go away, I can almost guarantee that.

Here it is with just the outter rim of the scoop painted red. I'm not sure if I like it, but I like it more than the whole thing red. PS, I know it's a horrible photoshop :-X

Well i love the halo's and the clear corners, but i dont know about the bright red hood scoop grill.... maybe you could try only painting the outside rim of the grill as stated above... either way, it's up to you... but one suggestion would be to paint you calipers red to help the theme. Just a thought. Very nice car, i love verts

Eh, Not a fan.. It stands out WAY too much.. IMO you wouldn't want the hood grille to be a huge focal point of the car. When you look at your car the eyes draw you right to the grille.. I say paint it back to black..
