I agree that it was more because I special ordered my car and I went with dual/dual because the CME setup was more expensive.
I'm sure if it had only been 1K I would have ordered it with CME

when they were selling off the last ones they had the valances were $150 and the tips were under 100. prior to that the whole setup together was about 1100-1200.

I got one of their later sets of tips (extra ones for me, plus I wanted the extra reinforcement), and it was $250. As an option on my car, I think it was like $1300 or so (which was ridiculous when I think about it).

if you bought the complete kit.. meaning the muffler, 2 elbows, tips, valance, install kit, hangers.. the kit retailed this time last year for $859..

the tips alone sold for $269

the rear valance was $219

Muffler was $239

Elbows were 100$

Harware kit was 49$
ect ect..

then they had their clearance sale in april, may and june..

valance was $99
Tips were $169

i know because i bought this last year... they didnt sell the complete kit at a discount, but you could buy it piece by piece... i still have my original invoice for these showing the "retail" price and sale price.

His information is correct. I don't recall ever seeing those tips for just $72.00, but I guess I could be wrong.

Greeny got it.

I bought SLP's last valance and it was $100.
Don't remember what the tips cost, though.

When the tips were still being produced they were around $70. One of my club members bought them for this price originally. He was going to buy a 2nd tip and have it chromed only to find that they jacked the price to like $170 since they weren't making any more of the tips. Unfortunately I just sold my valance since I couldn't find a tip in good condition for a decent price. Now that I sold it, one from SLP pops up on ebay. Go figure.
