I can't imagine that the water would really get in there too much. Even if it did, the grill should block most of it off, I'd think.

Let's see some more cars rockin' VFN hoods!

I'm wanting to order a Sunoco hood but have a few questions. The pin-on hood, does it come with the pins or do you have to install yourself? Also, can it be bolted to the factory hinges or is it a true pin-on hood? I'm wanting the pin-on hood for weight savings but if it can't be bolted to the factory hinges and held on by only pins then I might just have to order the bolt-on style. Thanks for any help.

Order the bolt-on style... The pin-on hood does NOT come with pins and can NOT be bolted to the factory hinges. I asked before I ordered mine as well.

I wanted to put the pin-on hood on with the factory hinges and hood pins in the front but it can't be done. You basically need Dzeus clips all around...

Heres pics of my 3'' SS hood, It still needs painting that was scheduled for this winter but with the recent downfall of my engine a 396 swap took first priority It took a little bit of adjustment to get it to fit but nothing more then i was expecting. VFN was great during the whole transaction i couldn't be happier with the purchase.

What are people seeing as a ballpark figure to get the hood fitted and painted? I have the WS-9 Outlaw on the car, but I have not been able to get that perfect fit that I want and it still needs paint.
