Default Are there brighter headlights for T/A's

Sylvania makes the silver star head lamps for many application but not the Trans-Am. Are there any other bright head lamps that can be purchased b/c I have .2 tint on my winshield and its hard to at night sometimes.

HID's are your only option with the TA/Firebirds. Here is a pic of my car with 6000k HID's

BTW Sylvania SilverStar bulbs are not actually brighter, but whiter. There is a difference.

Step 1: Remove .2 tint on windshield
Step 2: See better at night

What your asking is like..."my brakes don't work, will throwing an anchor out the window let me stop like a Z06?"

if you do hids do them correctly and do a projector retrofit. It takes longer but you won't blind everyone on the road.

If I do my math right, I believe .2 is 20% not 2%. **** I don't think he could see if it was 2% . But yeah remove the tint from the windshield. If you really can't live without it then just pony up the money for HIDs.

Its irresponsible depending on where he lives. If he lives in some rural area then I vote: Take the tints off.

On a side note: I live in the city where every street for the most part is lit. I drive around in 35% front windshield tinted and 5% all around tinted with no headlights on. Just fog lights on. Looks pretty mean.
