Looked at both and finally went with this WS9 hood by US Exotics. Great fitment ... bought the taller ram air box ... no rubbing my lid ... ... totally sayisfied.

Mecham must have stepped up their quality with the new versions of the hood because i didnt have one problem with prep or fitment and its been on a year with the hood struts and never had a cracking problem either

Another vote here for the Raptor. I have had mine almost a year and a half and only had to do the fine adjustments to make it fit right. No body work, no filler, no trimming of any kind. Then this last summer we decided to stripe the hood

^i love your stirpes, if i had a bird i would have did something like this. BTW... what color are the nostril grills?

Thanks! The grilles I left black to give a little color separation before the stripes continued to the nose piece. I have contemplated painting them or changing them up somehow, but the color separation it gives is so good, I don't really want to mess with it.
