I saw one crossing the road in NC, but I was far from hitting it. I also was not doing 120 either. They are some crazy animals though.

About 6 or 7 years ago I'm driving down a 2 lane back road one afternoon in my old '89 GTA when this fairly large raccoon runs across the road ahead of me. Only when it spots the pickup truck coming from the other direction, it freezes right up in his lane.

So I'm thinking sweet! I'm gonna get to see this roadkill first hand and up close. Right at the last second though this raccoon gets smart enough to get out of the way of the truck. Only just smart enough though, cause he turned and ran right out in front of me, and there was nowhere for me to go but into the truck in the other lane, or the ditch at 55mph.

Smashed up the nose of my car pretty good, cracking it in several places, and tore the air deflector clean off. The carcass left a few souvenirs scattered all along the undercarriage of the car as well. Quite a mess. He would have had a much higher chance of survival with the truck.

LOL I just read in another one of your posts that you hit a homeless person too! That's a death machine you've got there!!

I ran over 4 rabbits at once in a Chevy Astro I was driving. Talk about carnage...

I had to drive my dad's truck a while back. I was taking a back road to church when a bird flew in front of me. He would have made it, but for some dumb reason he fluttered and I nailed him going about 60. It was helarious to see all the feathers through the rear-view mirror.

Also, I went to a Christmas party a couple years ago, and one of the guests was driving her honda when a falcon swooped directly into her car head on. It was still hanging from the grill when she arrived at the party.

Thats crazy! Maybe you should not cruise at 120 and you would have had plenty of time!

That is a nice ******* ticket going 95mph over the speed limit In california I'd never think about seeing a ******* alligator crossing the road but every now and then on a few freeways you see the sign of a woman and two kids running across the highway. I guess that means mexicans crossing the freeway running from border patrol

After you see what a Deer does to your car, you'll be glad about the gators.
Ive seen people hit large bucks and have Frame damage.

Although im from Upstate NY so seeing a Gator run across the road would be a new experience for me, thats for sure.
