Switchboard for ashtray 00 ss Ok well im not sure if this is the right thread, but heres the deal. What im looking for is a 2 button, more specifically 1 button 1 toggle switch, panel that i can fit into the ashtray of my center counsel. So if there is anyone who can help i would appreciate it.

they are really easy to make, just use a piece of cardboard or poster board to get the shape, then trace it onto a piece of aliminum or plastic, or whatever.. drill the holes for the switches exactly where you want um, and enjoy (i secured mine with some 3M double sided tape)

i doubt home depot will have some, but if there are any industrail parks nearby check there.. i used a dvd case for mine, looks and works great.. plus you can cut it with scissors..

make a custom one, i dont like the jimmy jams. they look like a toy, you can custom fab something classier. use aluminum, see if you can get SS etched into it or something.
heres my switchpanel. i know its not in my ashtray, but its something else to think about. someone from another forum works with metal templates or something, and made it for me.

Verdad Gallardo the guy who made it for me sent me the plain silver ones, the purge button i stole from a friend, the red one i got from the guy who sold me the nitrous kit, and then i bought another (like the red one) from a local speed shop.
