I tried to get a replacement fog light bulb on my previous Camaro and they said they needed the part number off the bulb to get you a new one. So either try and get the remaining bulb out and take it in, or find the PN off the net.

The stock bulb in the 1998-2002 Firebird (base, Formula, and Trans Am) is 880.

893 will fit, but its higher wattage (37.5 watt vs. 25 watt) and will melt the housing.

I know from experience.

i was using the silverstars (880) and they kept burning out. i went through 5 and stopped using them. im pretty sure its because the bulbs got touched. but im saving up and im gonna go HID.

I know fog lights are cool, i love them myself. But i had so many problems with them on the LT1 that i deleted them (mounting brackets in all etc.) Threw them in the pile with the back seats/spare tire etc. 100pds =1 tenth of a second, gotta start somewhere.
