I don't understand why people get all bent out of shape about it being a show car. It was built to be a SHOW CAR, nothing else. Its not like your neighbor down the street with just a plain stock Corvette that only puts 2000 miles a year on the car, because its a "Corvette". The guy obviously has expendable cash and thats the way he chose to spend it. You can't daily drive a hot rod like that anyhow, and you won't win any serious awards with rock chips and crap all over the front of it. When you start paying 50K+ for a motor, 20K+ for a paint job and then 10K+ for interior, you can start slamming the dude. Just be glad he has the money to build an awesome car for US to look at...goto your local track to see some 'necked out 70s Camaro's in primer if you wanna see one go down the track.

Agreed. Is almost as if there people who hate not the car but what the guy did with it. Cars are meant to be driven? Well they are means of transportation, yes, but they can also be works of art, things to look at. You can enjoy a car also just looking at it!! Dont hate, if the guy had the money to put that thing together I bet he has a very nice car to drive also....

Now me, I would love to take that thing for a spin!! Now, what I do hate is guys with money building a sick car and not knowing how to tighten a screw. I, as a car enthusiast think that hurts the hobby the most because it artificially increases prices to the sky! Think Barret-Jackson.....In the end everyone has the right to do with their money what they like though...

The only HATE I saw so far in this thread is the guy who hates that generation of Camaro... I started the negative aspect of this post with:
"FINE, I'll be the bad guy...
As beautiful as that car is (and it is mighty purdy)
what are the chances they'll ever drag it? Chrome wheelie bar wheels?
Imagine the turd the owner would drop if the nose got rock chips?

it's a fine SHOW CAR!!!"

And I never bashed anything.

Why can't we all just get along. . .

Drag cars are built or stripped to be drag cars, just as show cars are built and chromed to be show cars. It's a beautiful car for sure.

That car's so badass, it looks like it might lift its front end off the ground in neutral.
