Cleaning carpets ...what shampoo or what method??

Guys thanks for the help/ Rented the Rug Doctor for $35 total and it worked GREAT. Detailed 2 customers cars with it and they were blown away. One was covered in white from road salt. Also while I had it I did 2 house carpets and my TA and the wifeys truck. Not bad for $35 and 1 days work, made $250 from the detail jobs so it was a bargain

well.......i live in texas and its almost summer....Im still not sure though because im def gonna have to take out the front seats to get everything, lots of coke stains from previous owner. so would it be better to take the seats out and do it or just go ahead and take out the entire carpet... sorry to kinda steal thread

Steam cleaner all the way! My friend owns a detailing business and he has ALWAYS used a steam cleaner on carpets. I think his steam cleaner cost $1500 but its an industrial unit. I'm sure you can get something smaller cheaper or rent one as others have stated.
