I did a test tonight with the top of the A/C canister. It came out pretty dam good. I went as high as 2500 grit. I used wet sand paper the whole time. I will post pictures when I get the chance.

Ok so here are some pictures. I only did the TOP of the A/C canister. You can compare the sides to the top to see the difference.

Yes, I used Mothers Metal Power, or Power Metal Aluminum. I used the liquid form. Is the solid kind any better? It has a nice great shine in person. The pictures will be better out in the sun.

Can exhaust tips be polished? My Borla tips look like crap.

Just played with my tips as I just put mine on. Had them on a few days and adjusted them. Wasn't much to polish on them, but I can tell you I had stainless steel and it didn't hurt em. I assume its no problem.

If it's metal, it can be polished.

I used a fine steel wool and worked it up really good and then used Mother's Polish to finish it off. It all depends what your trying to polish.

The paste (solid) form is way better
